Uncommon vintage signature in blue fountain pen on a 3x5-inch tan card, acquired at the very onset of her career in the early 1970s by fellow actor and autograph collector Peter Hansen. In good condition, with an extremely minor crinkle to the right edge, and ideal for matting with a favorite photograph. One of the great screen beauties of her generation, English-born model and leading lady Lesley-Anne Down gained prominence in the role of Lady Georgina on the T.V. serial "Upstairs, Downstairs" (1976-1977). She was elsewhere memorable as smoldering, vaguely untrustworthy vixens in the horror flicks Countess Dracula (1971), In the Devil's Garden (1971) and From Beyond the Grave (1974); The Pink Panther Strikes Again (1976); the screen version of Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music (1977); The Great Train Robbery (1978); and Death Wish V (1996).
