Lovely glossy 7.5 x 9.5-inch black and white portrait, signed and inscribed in black felt-tip pen in the 1980s. In good condition, with very neat trimming to the borders. Alluring Ellen Drew, who starred in films like If I Were a King (1938), Christmas in July (1940) and Johnny O'Clock (1947), is remembered by horror, sci-fi and fantasy buffs for her (far more memorable) roles in The Monster and the Girl (1941), The Mad Doctor (1941) with Basil Rathbone and the Boris Karloff classic Isle of the Dead (1945).
