Highly scarce vintage inscribed signature on a 4x6-inch tan autograph album page, acquired in-person in the early 1940s. In very good condition, with negligible handling dings, and suitable for matting. While Liam Dunn has never been a household name, it was impossible to not recognize the scrawny, elderly-looking character actor whenever he popped up in the films and T.V. programs of the 1950s through 1980s. He was a regular in Mel Brooks films, stealing scenes as Reverend Johnson in Blazing Saddles (1974), experimental subject Mr. Hilltop ("Nice hopping!") in Young Frankenstein (1974) and a news vendor in Silent Movie (1976). He died of emphysema at the age of 59 and his autograph is extremely elusive in any format. This is just the second example we've ever encountered.
