Fantastic and uncommonly early 6x8-inch black and white portrait from The Outlaw Josie Wales (1976), boldly signed and inscribed in violet felt-tip pen at the time of the film. A paperclip impression to the upper area, to the right of his hat, and trimmed down from 8x10 inches for framing purposes; otherwise, in good condition for its age. No-nonsense leading man Clint Eastwood rose to fame playing "man's man" icons the Man with No Name in Sergio Leone's spaghetti westerns A Fistful of Dollars (1964), For a Few Dollars More (1965) and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966), and Harry Callahan in the Dirty Harry cop film series.  More recently, he has demonstrated considerable skill as a filmmaker.  For his work in Unforgiven (1992) and Million Dollar Baby (2004), he snagged Academy Awards for Best Director and Producer of the Best Picture, and received Best Actor nods.  Eastwood is fondly remembered by horror, sci-fi and fantasy buffs for two films made way back when he was a nobody:  Revenge of the Creature (1955) and Tarantula (1955).
