Cat. #0013231421: CLINT EASTWOOD

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

Hands down the best example we have ever offered: A superb 11x14-inch black and white portrait, boldly signed with no inscription in black felt-tip pen in the early 1970s. From the personal collection of a now retired autograph dealer. In good condition for its age, with minor creasing to the upper edge, and magnificent for display. No-nonsense leading man Clint Eastwood rose to fame playing "man's man" icons the Man with No Name in Sergio Leone's spaghetti westerns A Fistful of Dollars (1964), For a Few Dollars More (1965) and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966), and Harry Callahan in the Dirty Harry cop film series.  More recently, he has demonstrated considerable skill as a filmmaker.  For his work in Unforgiven (1992) and Million Dollar Baby (2004), he snagged Academy Awards for Best Director and Producer of the Best Picture, and received Best Actor nods.  Eastwood is fondly remembered by horror, sci-fi and fantasy buffs for two films made way back when he was a nobody:  Revenge of the Creature (1955) and Tarantula (1955).
