Vintage double-weight sepia-tone silver gelatin studio portrait, boldly signed in blue fountain pen in the 1930s. In very fine condition. WAMPAS Baby Star and Mack Sennett bathing beauty Sally Eilers made her film debut in Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle's The Red Mill (1927), and went on to appear in a number of other silent comedies.  With the advent of talkies, she became a dramatic lead, memorable in Charlie Chan in The Black Camel (1931), A Holy Terror (1931), Disorderly Conduct (1932), State Fair (1933), Lady Behave! (1937), and Strange Illusion (1945).
