WAMPAS Baby Star and Mack Sennett bathing beauty Sally Eilers made her film debut in Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle's The Red Mill (1927), and went on to appear in a number of other silent comedies.  With the advent of talkies, she became a dramatic lead, memorable in Charlie Chan in The Black Camel (1931), A Holy Terror (1931), Disorderly Conduct (1932), State Fair (1933), Lady Behave! (1937), and Strange Illusion (1945).
