Highly uncommon inscribed signature in marker on a 3x5-inch pink card, dating to 1986. In good condition, with very minor wear to the upper edge and the autograph itself suitable for matting. The tough-looking leading man is best known for his starring role as Dr. Bill Corter in the cult classic The Brain That Wouldn't Die (1962). He went on to make several other contributions to the horror, sci-fi and fantasy genres, playing Rael on T.V.'s "Star Trek" (1968), Simmons in The Illustrated Man (1969), E-2 in Escape from Planet of the Apes (1971), hunter Jason Monroe in Claws (1977), Wayne Crawford in Barracuda (1978), and Lou the editor in Basket Case 2 (1990). Evers was also memorable as Captain Coleman in the John Wayne favorite The Green Berets (1968).
