Extremely scarce vintage fountain pen signature on a 2.5 x 2.75-inch tan autograph album page, easily separable from two additional signatures of the duo pianists Jean and Valerie Trimble, acquired in-person in the early 1950s.  In good condition and superb for matting.  Note that the image of the star shown alongside the scan of the piece here is not actually included.  The magnificent English operatic contralto, who left behind many moving recordings, died tragically of cancer at the age of 41 and her autograph is highly elusive in any format.
