Scarce vintage green pencil signature on a 4x6-inch pink autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1930s. In good condition. Professional boxer-turner-character actor Stanley Fields made good use of his husky physique and broken nose to portray tough-talking authority figures and no-good hoods in films like Mammy (1930), The Border Legion (1934), Little Caesar (1931), Cimarron (1931), the Wheeler and Woolsey comedy Cracked Nuts (1931), A Holy Terror (1931), Riders of the Purple Sage (1931), Destry Rides Again (1932), The Kid from Spain (1932), Sherlock Holmes (1932) with Clive Brook, horror's Island of Lost Souls (1932), Destination Unknown (1932), Terror Aboard (1933), Roman Scandals (1933), Kid Millions (1934), Mutiny on the Bounty (1935), Show Boat (1936), Ali Baba Goes to Town (1937), Laurel's and Hardy's Way Out West (1937), Of Human Hearts (1938), The Adventures of Marco Polo (1938), and Pack Up Your Troubles (1939).  He died of a heart attack at just 57 years of age.
