Fascinating, versatile, sometimes downright disturbing English-born actor Ralph Fiennes was nominated for two Academy Awards, for his portrayal of vile Amon Goeth in Schindler's List (1993) and Count de Almasy in The English Patient (1996). He was elsewhere memorable as an assortment of dashing lovers and merciless psychopaths in Quiz Show (1994), Disney's Prince of Egypt (1998), The End of the Affair (1999), the Hannibal Lecter flick Red Dragon (2002), The Duchess (2008), and the James Bond favorite Skyfall (2012), as well as in the Harry Potter film series, in which he played arch-nemesis Voldermoort.
