Cat. #00138481: ROBERT FLOREY

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

Highly scarce vintage 10x8-inch black and white portrait, shown with actor Roger Pryor on the set of Glamour for Sale (1940), boldly signed and inscribed for actor and autograph collector Jim Wiggins in black felt-tip pen in January of 1974. In good condition, with slight brushing to the writing in a few spots. Esteemed filmmaker Robert Florey co-wrote the screenplays for Frankenstein (1931) with Garrett Fort and Bride of Frankenstein (1935) with William Hurlbut, and is remembered as the director of the horror classics Murders in the Rue Morgue (1932) and The Beast with Five Fingers (1946). He also directed multiple episodes of T.V.'s sci-fi favorite "The Twilight Zone."
