Highly rare vintage inscribed fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch pale pink autograph album page, acquired in-person in February of 1949, the year his She Wore a Yellow Ribbon was on the big screen.  In good condition, with a few negligible surface crinkles.  Legendary director John Ford is remembered for magnificent westerns and sentimental small-town stories, most notably The Lost Patrol (1934), The Informer (1935), Young Mr. Lincoln (1939), The Grapes of Wrath (1940), Stagecoach (1939), How Green Was My Valley (1941), They Were Expendable (1945), My Darling Clementine (1946), Fort Apache (1948), She Wore a Yellow Ribbon (1949), Rio Grande (1950), The Quiet Man (1952), The Sun Shines Bright (1953), Mogambo (1953), The Searchers (1956), The Horse Soldiers (1959), How the West Was Won (1963), and Donovan's Reef (1963).
