Cat. #001409032: ROBERT FRAZER

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

Rare and uncommonly large matte-finish 7.4 x 9.5-inch sepia-tone portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen in the late 1910s or early 1920s. In fine condition for its age. Handsome silent leading man Robert Frazer transitioned to character roles in the talkie era, playing outlaws in poverty row westerns and important roles in horror, sci-fi, crime, and fantasy favorites like White Zombie (1932), The Vampire Bat (1933), Condemned to Live (1935), Dick Tracy vs. Crime, Inc. (1941), Black Dragons (1942), and The Tiger Woman (1944). He died quite young, at the age of 53, and his autograph is quite elusive in any format.
