Scarce vintage 3.5 x 5.25-inch sepia-tone Ross Verlag postcard portrait, boldly signed in blue fountain pen, very likely in 1927, the year he so famously portrayed Freder, Jon Fredersen's son, in Fritz Lang's dystopian classic Metropolis. In good condition for its age. Note that it was uncommon for Frohlich to sign with his full first and last name, as he generally signed photographs with his surname only.
