Cat. #0014241: GAVIN GORDON

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

Rare vintage inscribed fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch tan autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1930s. In good condition, with a light paper clip impression to the right edge. Busy supporting stage and screen actor Gavin Gordon was typically cast as imperious types or smooth-talking slimeballs. He made important contributions to the horror genre, playing George Winton in the Lionel Atwill favorite Mystery of the Wax Museum (1933), Lord Byron in the opening sequence of James Whale's Bride of Frankenstein (1935), and Lieutenant Andy Anderson in The Bat (1959), alongside Vincent Price.
