Nice mattable green fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch light green autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1930s. In good condition. Pretty Janet Gaynor was one of the biggest box office draws of the silent era. In 1929, she became the first winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for her performances in three films, 7th Heaven (1927), F.W. Murnau's Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans (1927) and Street Angel (1928). The actress' success continued into the talkie era and she achieved a notable success in the original version of A Star Is Born (1937), snagging a second Best Actress Academy Award nomination.
