Initially sold as Britain's answer to Jean Harlow, saucy, blonde Margot Grahame was memorable in films like John Ford's The Informer (1935), The Three Musketeers (1935), Night Waitress (1936), The Buccaneer (1938), Black Magic (1949), The Beggar's Opera (1953), and Saint Joan (1957) before becoming a recluse and abandoning acting in the late 1950s.
