Sorry, this item has already been sold.

Highly rare vintage typescript of the opening four paragraphs of his book, The Human Factor, on a roughly 8.5 x 11-inch sheet of paper, boldly signed in black fountain pen. In good condition, with a lengthy diagonal bend at the bottom left, which intersects the first words in the last five lines. English novelist, short-story writer, playwright, and journalist Graham Greene penned novels dealing with life's moral ambiguities in the context of contemporary political settings, often with Catholic themes. Shortlisted twice for the Nobel Prize in Literature, his marvelous body of work includes Brighton Rock (1938), The Power and the Glory (1940), The Heart of the Matter (1948), The Third Man (1949), The End of the Affair (1951), The Quiet American (1955), and Our Man in Havana (1958).
