Charming vintage 5x7-inch black and white portrait with her pet Pekingese, boldly signed in blue fountain pen in July of 1945, as noted on the verso by the original collector. In fine condition. Tall, rubber-legged dancer and zany comedienne Charlotte Greenwood entered films during the silent era and appeared in some 35 films through the early 1960s, most memorably Stepping Out (1931), Palmy Days (1931), Flying High (1931), Star Dust (1940), Down Argentine Way (1940), The Gang's All Here (1943), Oh, You Beautiful Doll (1949), and Oklahoma! (1955).
