Rare early signature in black ballpoint pen, given on a 3x5-inch off-white card in 1988, before the cartoonist became a household name with the debut of T.V.'s "The Simpsons" (1989-2014). In good condition and ideal for matting with a favorite photograph. Matt Groening is also known for his "Life in Hell" comic strip (1977-2012) and the Futurama (1999-2003) T.V. series. Authentic examples of his autograph are getting scarce!
