Uncommon vintage inscribed blue fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch tan autograph album page, acquired in-person in the early 1930s. In good condition, with some gentle crinkling and toning in spots. Irish-born leading man Creighton Hale headlined in the silent horror, sci-fi and fantasy classics Snow White (1916), The Cat and the Canary (1927) and Seven Footprints to Satan (1929), and later had character roles in The Return of Doctor X (1939), One Million B.C. (1940), The Body Disappears (1941), The Hidden Hand (1942), The Mysterious Doctor (1943), Atom Man versus Superman (1950), Phantom of the Rue Morgue (1954), and The She-Creature (1956).  Hale's work in other areas included Orphans of the Storm (1921), The Marriage Circle (1924), George White's Scandals (1934), The Thin Man (1934), Bulldog Drummond Strikes Back (1934), Charlie Chan on Broadway (1937), On Your Toes (1939), The Maltese Falcon (1941), Sergeant York (1941), Yankee Doodle Dandy (1942), Casablanca (1942), The Gorilla Man (1943), Night and Day (1946), Humoresque (1946), Nora Prentiss (1947), Possessed (1947), Beyond the Forest (1949), Sunset Boulevard (1950), On Moonlight Bay (1951), and The Helen Morgan Story (1957).
