Scarce vintage inscribed black fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch light green autograph album page, acquired in-person by a busy New York City-based autograph hound in the 1930s. In good condition. Veteran stage and screen character actor John Halliday played suave aristocrats and cruel villains, often speaking with a British accent, despite being a native of Brooklyn, New York. Perhaps best known for his portrayal of Seth Lord in The Philadelphia Story (1940), he was also memorable in The Woman Accused (1933), Terror Abroad (1933), Return of the Terror (1934), Peter Ibbetson (1935), Desire (1936), and Intermezzo: A Love Story (1939).
