Terrific 10x8-inch black and white still, shown giving a piece of her mind to W.C. Fields in the comedy classic My Little Chickadee (1940), boldly signed in blue felt-tip pen in the 1980s: "Am I / getting thru / to you? Merry / Christmas + / love / Margaret Hamilton." In good condition. Margaret Hamilton, homely character actress of the 1930s through 1970s, was unforgettable as the Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz (1939). She made several other contributions to the horror, sci-fi and fantasy genres, playing Elaine Zacharides in William Castle's 13 Ghosts (1960) and Morticia's mother, Mrs. Frump, on T.V.'s "The Addams Family" (1965-1966).
