Rather uncommon vintage 3.5 x 5.5-inch black and white postcard portrait, boldly signed in black marker in the early 1970s and inscribed to fellow actor Peter Hansen.  In good condition.  Within three years after snagging the Mr. Universe title in 1955, Hungarian-born bodybuilder Mickey Hargitay had married Jayne Mansfield and become a film actor, typically confined to B-movies.  He is remembered by fans of the horror, sci-fi and fantasy genre for his starring roles in The Loves of Hercules (1960), Bloody Pit of Horror (1965), Lady Frankenstein (1971), Delirium (1972), and Rites, Black Magic and Secret Orgies in the Fourteenth Century (1973).
