Ultra-rare and incontrovertibly authentic vintage pencil signature, given in-person in an address book on board a cruise ship, on which she was aboard with Shirley Temple and the latter's family in the early 1930s, with the original writing implement Harlow used to sign still attached by string. In good condition, with the writing on a lined sheet measuring about 3.75 x 5.25 inches. Wow-- an example NOT signed by her mother, Mama Jean! In very good condition for its age and accompanied by a certificate from the third-party authentication service, J.S.A. Brassy leading lady and glamorous sex icon Jean Harlow died tragically of kidney disease, brought on by scarlet fever, at the age of 26, after memorable work in The Public Enemy (1931), Red Dust (1932), Suzy (1936), Libeled Lady (1936), and Saratoga (1937).  This is just the fourth authentic example of her autograph we have ever offered.
