Cat. #0014973: RALF HAROLDE

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

Rare vintage inscribed handwritten note in black felt-tip pen on a 4x6-inch light green card, acquired in-person by inveterate collector John Virzi in the 1960s. In very good condition. Prolific character actor Rolf Harolde-- who was involved in the car accident that killed fellow actor Monroe Owsley-- spent the 1930s and 1940s playing assorted sleazebags, odious lounge lizards, convicts, junkies, stool pigeons and henchmen whose ugly lives never ended well. Highlights of his 103-film career include Night Nurse (1931), I'm No Angel (1933), A Tale of Two Cities (1935), Human Cargo (1936), Horror Island (1941), Captain America (1944), Murder, My Sweet (1944), and The Phantom Speaks (1945).
