Cat. #001502: KATHLEEN HARRISON

Uncommon vintage 3.5 x 5.25-inch double-weight black and white glossy postcard portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in blue fountain pen in the late 1930s. In good condition for its age. Veteran English character actress Kathleen Harrison is remembered by horror, sci-fi, fantasy, and mystery buffs for her portrayals of Kaney in the Boris Karloff classic The Ghoul (1931), Mrs. Terence in Night Must Fall (1937), the parlor maid in The Terror (1938), and Miss Bourne in The Ghost Train (1941). She also played Mrs. Dilber in the 1951 movie adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol entitled Scrooge, considered by some critics to be under-appreciated for its horror and fantasy elements.
