Scarce vintage inscribed black fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch tan autograph album page, acquired in-person in the early 1940s. In good condition, with a signature of actor Walter Pidgeon on the verso. Important playwright Moss Hart collaborated with George S. Kaufman on "Merrily We Roll Along" (1930); "You Can't Take it With You" (1936), which earned the Pulitzer Prize; and "The Man Who Came to Dinner" (1939). Also a noted theater director, he snagged a Tony for "My Fair Lady" in 1956. He died of a heart attack at 57, having signed very little during his brief lifetime.
