Rather uncommon vintage inscribed fountain pen signature on a 3x5-inch white card, acquired in-person in the 1970s.  In good condition and nice for matting.  Oscar-nominated German film director Werner Herzog is considered one of the greatest figures of the New German Cinema.  Critic Robert Ebert once wrote of him, "He has never created a single film that is compromised, shameful, made for pragmatic reasons or uninteresting. Even his failures are spectacular."
