Rather scarce 8x10-inch black and white glossy portrait as Jonathan Higgins, the character he played on T.V.'s "Magnum, P.I." (1980-1988), "Simon & Simon" (1982) and "Murder, She Wrote" (1986-1992), boldly signed in black fine-tip pen. In good condition, with the autograph itself in a white patch of the border which could readily be trimmed away or used for matting. With his Texan drawl and dry wit, familiar-faced character actor John Hillerman has proved a veritable scene-swiper in films like They Call Me Mister Tibbs! (1970), The Last Picture Show (1971), Paper Moon (1973), Mel Brooks' Blazing Saddles (1974) and History of the World: Part I (1981), Chinatown (1974), The Day of the Locust (1975), Up the Creek (1984), and A Very Brady Sequel (1996).
