Rather uncommon vintage 8x10-inch black and white publicity portrait, dated 1972, boldly signed with his name alone in black felt-tip marker.  In very fine condition.  Large and in charge character actor Pat Hingle was memorable in films like On the Waterfront (1954), Splendor in the Grass (1961), Nevada Smith (1964), Hang 'em High (1968), Norma Rae (1979), Brewster's Millions (1985), Batman (1989), The Grifters (1990), Batman Returns (1992), Batman Forever (1995), The Quick and the Dead (1995), Batman and Robin (1997), Muppets from Space (1999), and Shaft (2000).  His extensive television work included classic episodes of "The Twilight Zone" (1963), "The Andy Griffith Show" (1966) and "Gunsmoke" (1971).
