Highly rare vintage black fountain pen signature on a roughly 3x4-inch tan autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1930s and later decorated with a small book image of the star. In good condition, with a tiny bit of brushing to the ink at the tail-end of his first name and two minute stains to the bottom edge. British stage and film character actor Dennis Hoey is best remembered for his portrayal of the ever-befuddled Inspector Lestrade in six of Universal Studios' Sherlock Holmes films, costarring Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce.
