Uncommon vintage 8x10-inch black and white chest-up portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in fountain pen.  In very fine condition and dated March of 1942 along the bottom edge by the original collector.  The warmhearted character actress is remembered for her recurring role as as Mickey Rooney's mother in MGM's Andy Hardy film series.
