Cat. #00154133012: HEDDA HOPPER

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

Rather scarce signature in bold pencil on a 4x6-inch pale grey autograph album page, acquired in-person by inveterate collector Rosanne Deerdorff Ochoa in 1935.  In good condition, with a nice pencil signature of character actor and director Gregory Ratoff on the verso.  Famed gossip columnist Hedda Hopper made frequent forays into silent and early talkie films, memorable in Sherlock Holmes (1922) with John Barrymore; Don Juan (1926); the horror classic Dracula's Daughter (1936); Topper (1936); Tarzan's Revenge (1938); and, later, Reap the Wild Wind (1942) and Sunset Boulevard (1950).
