Uncommon and quite lovely vintage 3.5 x 5.25-inch sepia-tone postcard portrait, boldly signed in green fountain pen in about 1934, just one year after she starred as Dorothy Harson, opposite Boris Karloff, Ernest Thesiger and Cedric Hardwicke, in the horror favorite The Ghoul (1933). In good condition. Beautiful leading lady Dorothy Hyson only appeared in a handful of other films, choosing to concentrate on stage work, and her autograph is highly scarce in any format.
