Rare vintage pencil signature on a 4.5 x x 5.5-inch pale yellow autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1930s. In good condition and suitable for matting with a favorite photograph. Diminutive, platinum-haired supporting actress Isabell Jewell was typically cast as hard-boiled, tough-talking gangster's molls, dumb blondes and prostitutes. Forever remembered for playing Emmy Slattery in Gone with the Wind (1939), she made a number of contributions to the horror, sci-fi and fantasy genres, with roles in Mad Love (1935), The Leopard Man (1943), The Seventh Victim (1943), and Sweet Kill (1973).
