Scarce vintage 8x10-inch pearl-finish silver-tone half-length costume portrait by Freulich for Little Man, What Now? (1934), boldly signed and inscribed in blue fountain pen.  In good condition for its age, with minute corner bumps and an ink brush to one letter of the signature.  Typically cast as stern policemen, prison wardens, judges, and other authority figures, the character actor's countless credits included supporting roles in the horror classics Seven Footprints to Satan (1929), The Bat Whispers (1930) and Mystery of the Wax Museum (1933).  He was also memorable in Charlie Chan's Courage in 1934.
