Tough to acquire-- most of the "autographed" portraits one sees were cranked out by secretaries-- 3.25 x 5.5-inch black and white postcard portrait, boldly signed in blue fountain pen around 1933. In good condition, with gentle edge wear and mounting remnants on the verso. Charming Dorothy Jordan had an all-too-brief film career in the 1930s, retiring to marry and settle down with King Kong (1931) director Merian C. Cooper. She returned to Hollywood only briefly, in the late 1930s, to try out for the role of Melanie in Gone with the Wind (1939), which, of course, went to Olivia de Havilland.
