Feisty Pert Kelton, who was a popular comedic film actress in the 1930s, was the first actress to play Alice Kramden on T.V.'s "The Honeymooners" two decades later, forced to leave the show under suspicions of Communist leanings. She was also noteworthy as Shirley Jones' Irish mother in The Music Man (1962) and on the classic episode of "The Twilight Zone" entitled "Miniature" in 1963.
