In good condition for its age, with minor edgewear. Character actor Percy Kilbride developed an easy-going, twangy-voiced bumpkin characterization on stage which would become his trademark in motion pictures like George Washington Slept Here (1942), The Adventures of Mark Twain (1944) and State Fair (1945). His best known role was that of Pa Kettle, opposite Marjorie Main as Ma Kettle, in a much-loved series of ten films.
