Scarce vintage fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch tan autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1950s.  In very good condition and ideal for matting.  Alternatively cast as either authoritative types of towering integrity or deliciously reptilian villains, character actor Alexander Knox is remembered by horror and sci-fi fans for his portrayal of Dr. Curtis Lanyon in Son of Dr. Jekyll (1951).  His other forays into the darker genres included starring roles in Alias John Preston (1955), These Are the Damned (1963), Crack in the World (1965), and The Psychopath (1966).
