Highly rare and quite choice vintage typed letter on an 8.5 x 11-inch sheet of tan Universal Pictures Corporation letterhead, boldly signed in black fountain pen in 1933, the year he oversaw production of The Invisible Man. In good condition, with two light mailing folds; a small rust stain from a paperclip to the upper edge; and a few minor surface creases. Eminent movie producer Carl Laemmle, Jr. continued his father's Universal Horror tradition with Dracula (1931), Frankenstein (1931), The Murders in the Rue Morgue Morgue (1932), The Old Dark House (1932), The Mummy (1932), The Invisible Man (1933), The Black Cat (1934), and Bride of Frankenstein (1935).
