Bold vintage blue fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch yellow autograph album page, acquired in-person at Chicago's Deerborn Station in 1947. In good condition, with a few minor ink flecks around the writing. Larger-than-life Oscar winner Charles Laughton made a number of contributions to the horror, sci-fi and fantasy genres, included  roles in James Whale's The Old Dark House (1932), The Island of Lost Souls (1932) and The Strange Door (1951), which co-starred Boris Karloff.
