Excellent, early 3.25 x 5.25-inch black and white English postcard portrait, boldly signed with his name alone-- in much more articulated form than one typicall enounters-- in bold, black fountain pen in the early 1930s. In fine condition for its age. Larger-than-life Oscar winner Charles Laughton made a number of contributions to the horror, sci-fi and fantasy genres, included  roles in James Whale's The Old Dark House (1932), The Island of Lost Souls (1932) and The Strange Door (1951), which co-starred Boris Karloff.
