Highly scarce vintage inscribed signature in brown wax pencil on a 3 x 5.5-inch white card, acquired in-person in 1957. Some light brushing to the writing and a minor patch of soiling in the upper left-hand corner, but, overall, in good condition for its age. The rugged leading man of the late silent and early talkie eras, memorable as Richard Masters in Charlie Chan at the Olympics (1937), was a B serial and sagebrush saga star throughout the 1940s and 1950s, appearing in nearly 100 western features. Between 1958 and 1966, he lent his distinctive voice to the titular talking palomino on T.V.'s "Mister Ed".
