Rather uncommon black felt-tip pen signature on a 3x5-inch white card, acquired in-person at a film convention appearance in the 1980s.  In very good condition and nice for matting with a favorite photograph.  In a career spanning five decades, and nearly 325 film and television appearances, character actor Harry Lauter played a mixed bag of villains, soldiers, cops, detectives, and cowboys in crime, horror, sci-fi, fantasy, and western Bs.  Highlights include Jungle Patrol (1948), A Foreign Affair (1948), I Was a Male War Bride (1949), White Heat (1949), Flying Disc Man from Mars (1950), The Flying Missile (1950), Lorna Doone (1951), The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951), Captain Kidd and the Slave Girl (1954), Return to Treasure Island (1954), Dragnet (1955), It Came from Beneath the Sea (1955), It Came from the Atom Brain (1955), Blonde Bait (1956), The Werewolf (1956), Earth vs. the Flying Saucers (1956), The Women of Pitcairn Island (1956), The Cry Baby Killer (1958), and Escape from the Planet of the Apes (1971).
