Scarce vintage 5x7-inch sepia-tone portrait, boldly signed in black fountain pen in the 1930s. In good condition. Well-spoken, mild-mannered English leading man Frank Lawton is remembered by horror, sci-fi and fantasy fans as Ronald Drake in Lambert Hillyer's The Invisible Ray (1936) and Toto in Tod Browning's The Devil-Doll (1936). He was elsewhere noteworthy in Cavalcade (1933) and A Night to Remember (1958) before his early death at the age of 64.
