Cat. #00163132: FRANK LAWTON

Scarce vintage blue ballpoint pen signature on a 4x6-inch turquoise autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1950s. In good condition and nice for matting with a favorite photograph. Well-spoken, mild-mannered English leading man Frank Lawton is remembered by horror, sci-fi and fantasy fans as Ronald Drake in Lambert Hillyer's The Invisible Ray (1936) and Toto in Tod Browning's The Devil-Doll (1936). He was elsewhere noteworthy in Cavalcade (1933) and A Night to Remember (1958) before his early death at the age of 64.
