Rare vintage inscribed fountain pen signature on a 4x5-inch pale pink autograph album page, acquired in-person in the late 1940s. In good condition, with an ink notation by the original collector along the left edge. The all-too-brief film career of boxer and pioneering Black actor Canada Lee included superb work in Keep Punching (1939), Lifeboat (1944), Body and Soul (1947), and Cry, the Beloved Country (1951). He died tragically of a heart attack at the age of 45 and his autograph is extremely elusive in any format.
