Cat. #001635113: TOM LEHRER

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

TOUGH to acquire inscribed signature in blue fine-tip pen on a 3x5-inch off-white card, dating to the 1990s. In good condition, with a dedication that could easily be removed. Note that the image of the star shown here alongside the scan of the autograph is not included. There has never been an entertainer quite like Tom Lehrer, a Harvard mathematician who had a double career as a comic singer, songwriter and pianist. Called "a miracle" by his childhood friend Stephen Sondheim, Lehrer's brilliant musical feats included setting the period table of the elements to song, "Poisoning Pigeons in the Park," "The Masochism Tango," "We'll All Go Together When We Go," "The Vatican Rag," and too many others to list.
