Classic Entertainment Autographs

Cat. #0016421: LOTTE LENYA

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

Rare typed letter, dated 1958, on her personal stationery, explaining to a fan that she couldn't provide him with an autograph following a stage performance, because her entourage forced her into a limousine and whisked her away, boldly signed in black fountain pen.  Note that the signature itself is mattable.  In good condition, with the expected mailing folds.  Tony Award-winning and Academy award-nominated actress and singer Lotte Lenya-- who rarely furnished autographs, especially with her full name-- is best remembered for her portrayal of the villainous Rosa Klebb in the James Bond classic From Russia with Love (1963).
